More conversations with god (the course not mine)

I recently checked out an apparently free lecture by Neale Donald Walsch, having read as far as I know all the books of the series, and the ad said for all those who followed them and still felt life was pretty much shit (my version there). So as that applied to me I checked it out, 90 minutes or so, and he basically picked the three principles we all knew already, maybe added a bit more (I'll have to listen again) and the last half hour was advertising his 7 week online course at a cost of near on $400. Now as far as I can tell, the whole message of the books was that if we followed the advice we could sort things out, now he's accepted many of us clearly didn't, and now offers the solution as 'he needs 14 hours dialogue and 7 weeks to do it rather than a residential week'. Oh yes? The book does say that whatever the bible said Jesus was the way skeptical people could realise god who didn't believe they could make the transition directly, so needed a man as a bridge between the two camps. He also mentions lots of other teachers, unlike many, saying they are all giving the same message. He also does not appear to endorse Jesus' apparent message 'The only route to god is through me', in fact quite the opposite.

Now he is almost saying (although clearly some people must have succeeded in applying the principles from the books alone or there wouldn't be many buyers) that the only way to god is through his fucking course. You what? Are you saying despite your, god's and our own minds (part of god's it says) we still need a 7 week bleeding expensive course in order for the teachings to actually work? Do me a lemon, as one of my pupils used to say, you are appearing to take the route of those you spend about 11 books running down. There are two meditations across the series, just variations on a normal yogic theme, and although I didn't do them very long as I had my own already were possibly no better or worse than any others as persistence appears to be the key. Amazingly enough I am not doing the course, but believe if the rest of the material is genuine I wouldn't need to as I have all the material already. I also believe if it is true many things I write and know already come from a universal pool of information as I don't always have nearly enough information to know what I do, yet it tends to be correct whenever it comes to me so clearly. I am hoping this post is inspired and guided by whatever is doing it, and I am directly requesting the help, he asked once and now I do know he got an answer in a clear outside voice, so he says it can be done.

Secondly as the books are such a complete (apparently) collection, what could possibly still be missing to require a 7 week course at such a cost? In contrast I've studied under a few teachers, admittedly with varying results, one ran a course lasting at least 5 months and did have some (temporary) results and was free. The second taught me basically all I needed in a free half hour lecture. I've since been to a longer one and read both his books, which give more details how to apply the rules but they are so basic you can just apply them whenever you can. Guru G offers an online course offering almost constant works which is the toughest (not to do but to find the time to) but very effective, and free. I know it works as I've heard the results from the successful pupils. I will say Abraham-Hicks and God (Walsch) offer one identical message, and admittedly one I still don't get. Maybe it's the one he spends much of the course doing. This thing that if you don't want something you get more of it and vice versa. It's not only theirs, but one they both consider extremely important, although I don't remember much in the books but only the new lecture. You are supposed to say everything you have now is fine already before you can move on. That is a theological perspective and one I am not qualified to analyse, except to say I still don't get it. People have tried to explain, but has never really done more than follow that if we focus on something we don't like we magnify it through attention so shouldn't do so. Of course that depends on the degree, and pain tells us not to focus on it but fix it. The rest can only be ignored relative to its degree of unpleasantness, and if you can't fix it then you are meant to focus on something else or it won't go away mentally, or accept it exactly as it is and it will and not try and resist it.

Now anyone with a problem can try this for themselves. Don't label it as bad, but just watch it or if it's part of a wider view don't dwell on it. That seems to work from not getting a parking space right the way up to enlightenment. It explains why I can't get a decent woman, my friends have unanimously moved away, I have no direct family apart from my parents, and my media career is stuck on the first step after climbing it some years ago. So as a recent example, how could I have done my last TV interview better? I performed to me perfectly well (I've been doing this stuff a while now) and the only thing I did was to remind him at the end not to arrange it for the morning (as no one else has) so I could do it properly. Having prima donna regulations is hardly against the media rules, plus besides saying it once already was hardly unreasonable. But I didn't do anything the books say is wrong about wanting it too much, not caring at all or planning my answers too carefully rather than being spontaneous. But he gave the work to someone else (bear in mind we don't actually get paid for this, the payment is being on TV) and I did nothing different to usual besides repeat myself once.

The Secret would say 'Feel like you are famous already and gradually the energy will change around you to reflect it'. In effect you do it for a few minutes a day for a while and let it go or you end up in a short holiday in an institution, and I did it for a couple of other things and it did work, so won't kick that out entirely as quantum physics tells us that these things are scientifically possible as well as in practice. Of course the bible and other teachers say if you reach enlightenment you stop caring about material things, get enlightened and then get the rest as a consequence. Short of interviewing Walsch's new course disciples, I won't be able to discover the success or otherwise, but that would be the only real way to know. But if you hadn't read the books then cramming it all into such a course would make sense, and not cost that much more than the price of the books when taking the teaching time into account on top. But for long time followers? That's like getting to the last year of your degree and then being told you can't do it for another few years and they're going to charge a lot more. Funnily enough after checking my own eligibility for a further qualification checked it out and was told of a further course of a similar nature. Those synchronicities are signs, and probably the message for me is Walsch's first rule, I was born perfect so don't need to change anything, just to realise I am already. Now if it's that simple what could possibly be contained in a 7 week course to communicate that effectively? He's made millions already (unless his publishers did him up, but that is normally confined to music where I hear they take about 95% of the income) and online worldwide imagine how many $400s will add up when he's run the course and removed his advertising expenses from the total? I must be cynical when I see a top teacher acting like a bottom teacher and need to work out how and why. But he certainly hasn't got me on board there but haven't dumped his teaching either. But the conflict is that there shouldn't be such a need for his long and expensive course if the books are worth reading.

Conversations with god- update

Having returned to the books after a few years I have found the same words I read the first time now carry meaning, for whatever reason they didn't before, and can certainly some up the most recent message as it ought to explain the total of a spiritual existence.

It seems to answer all the questions but one (not a major one and I may have missed it), but basically says assuming (a big ask but only a thought experiment here) there is a god, then we can't be a separate unit as individuals, but blocked off our knowledge of god once we became aware of our own, and then have to return to discover whatever we have it's all one. So our knowledge, what I called the Akashic records till now, is simply god's mind itself. Same effect but more personalised. As is our awareness, as it's not my awareness but awareness itself. Become aware of that (they come as a joined pair) and you are enlightened.

Secondly, despite many teachers telling students to keep their psychic abilities secret, the book/god disagrees. We are all able to do this, and without sharing the handful who claim they can, they need to show others so we are free of our limits. It certainly makes sense to me.

-------------------------------

So my mission now given this equation is not to imagine all this is from me (I have always known a few things without being shown or told) but have access to universal information. Of course the quality is secondary as I can't ever prove it, but know it better than anything else as it's from my own direct intuition. Sorting out the few nuggets from god in among the usual material is not easy, even harder is calling it up at all. But like the book, he opened his pad and wrote. The flow was quickly established and then became natural. So far I've only just got this system pretty much in total, and just starting out seeing how I can use it. I am planning to have a separate set of entries for these and just see what happens. I've got absolutely no idea what and how it'll work out, but has to contain more than usual.

So far beforehand I have been clearly aware of crooks and liars. Looking at any criminal investigation you can see how long it takes from experienced police realising someone is up to no good and collecting enough evidence to prosecute and get a conviction. I have enough for the world government/global warming conspiracy to get some people tried for treason, but as they are the people who make the laws then they will hardly prosecute themselves. That's the watertight system they've developed, which can only be freed by knowledge.

That mission has got me a few percent of new initiates and lots of insults. But at least if the truth ever comes out they can't say it surprised them as David Howard told them already. But where has it got me? It's got me reading books and doing meditation to extend my pretty rewardless ability to see through mass criminality to something a bit more helpful to my own life. I suppose it's all a game or a film of goodies and baddies and ultimately meaningless, but when I think of how much faster I could travel around if I could afford a big car with the money I'd save from cheaper petrol this criminality impacts on all our lives.

No doubt if I get one or two new answers now I'll get a rhythm going, as the book also says I'm not looking to become a master as those days are over, but to join them and create more as a result. Ultimately we're all headed to evolve to universal mind/awareness, and those who get there at the beginning will be the ones to bring more on board. As I am both aware of it and looking for it then by the fact hardly anyone else in the world is rules me in by default. If I'm looking then I'll be teaching if I find, and probably long before. I am actually using this as another way to open up the ability, as much learning comes about both through teaching and simply talking about the subject.

I've always had dreams which show me new things, from music to names and places, and designs of rooms and furniture not just me but anyone here has thought of. Of course someone has been sending me this information, and of course if all is connected then we can also home in on specific units as individuals and send to or collect from them as well. So far the quality and quantity has never grown or improved, which is odd as some of my psychic group can get complete lessons in dreams while the most I get are a few fragments. But dreams or not, I have potentially accepted the situation as there is more than enough evidence I've seen to imply this universal field is in existence regardless of our actual experiences before discovering it (and since). The simplest format would be questions and answers, but having tried that on paper ended up going round in circles as you would without any outside input. I'll know when I get something new, but at this early stage have absolutely no control over any results at all. But starting this hopefully may be one way to do so, I will see.

Conversation with god1

I've just been reading more of Conversations with God, the latest one (or latest one I have anyway), and realised along with other things that Neale Donald Walsch is one person who has apparently channelled god, but goes on to say god is within us all equally, so why not have a go myself? So rather than my usual Kingsbury nonsense I'll see what I get outside.

I haven't planned or prepared anything, but I suppose the best place to start is my vision of how things should be. I also believe this is common to most people, maybe all if they stripped off their prejudices. Besides the economics where there's clearly enough to go round if not held on to by the ones who keep it from their own people, it's also about basic freedoms. Laws are there to stop people getting hurt and losing their property. More than that is an interference. They get around it at the edges by bringing in arguments about what is hurting and what isn't. Wrong, if it hurts or damages you know it. If it needs a third party opinion it can't. End of that one. And I hadn't even got that before just now.

The hippies were the closest to this ideal I know of, certainly in my lifetime. I've hung out with them all over, and it was a good place to be. They didn't need the drugs, they wanted higher consciousness as those on the path all do, but saw them as a short cut. Maharaji turned up in London in 1971 and started turning them on to meditation and carried on soon after in California where he remains today, travelling the world around 300 days a year but his teaching and drugs work is there the whole time. It was downhill since then with politics and society reverting back to power struggles with unions, big business and crazed politicians, using the people as their tools to get what they and their little group wanted regardless of who lost what. Being the rule makers they were above the law so hurt as many people as much as they wanted as they continue to do.

Currently the majority of people believe and accept most of what those in authority tell them. They'd have a heart attack if they found some leader actually wanted to steal as much as they could and lock up anyone who got in their way. If they can't trust the leaders then who can they trust? Themselves of course. If you can rely on your own judgement then you don't need to rely on those you look up to. Unlike academics politicians require no qualifications, just a desire to be politicians. It's just hard work. They are not our friends or helpers, a few are but they are far from typical. Once you lose your faith in leaders then it's easier to think for yourself and not rely on the work of others who know perfectly well most people are too trusting or lazy to do their own research so can basically tell them whatever they want.

So I'd let everyone do exactly what they wanted except physical harm to person or property (ie violence) and theft. You'd also need standards of quality for products but then again people tend not to make or buy substandard goods when they can just as easily make proper ones, but housebuilders will make tiny cells if allowed free rein and can't rip up parks and gardens just to make money. People will cut corners wherever possible but as houses are stuck there for centuries need some rules unlike stuff you can take or leave. But dangerous products etc are the same as causing physical damage so don't go beyond that rule.

So you get the general picture. Keep out of people's lives. More politics than that is up to the people themselves and for them to choose wherever they are. As violence is still going to be illegal they will have to sort it out nicely between themselves. With or without governments, they are far from essential as long as there's a legal system in place the politicians are a pretty low option on the priority list. We have them as they say we need them. We needed them to waste time and lives and money in Iraq and Afghanistan? Or spending millions of pounds of our money finding out that poor children commit more crimes than rich ones. That's mainly what they do. And write new laws. Each new law restricts our lives that much more, and throwing someone in prison for not showing metric measures but daring to show imperial as well shows what we need politicians for.

I am tempted to stop here so people can absorb what I've said, and may well do and then return later for the next chapter. I have no idea what may follow but certain it will when I arrive.
