Knowledge of the way they do their tricks is the only real power the people have over magicians. These do not really print more money, they just devalue what they have and know most people think there's more. In fact commodities and resources are measured daily by organisations worldwide to set prices, and are incredibly price sensitive. If supply goes down the price goes up, and if cash goes down the price goes up as you need a certain number of calories a day for life, but the cost of them will change from week to week. Therefore the true value lies in the constants with actual physical functions and benefits.
In Britain they pretend renewable power works. They apply the same trick to firstly tax fossil fuel till it's a lot closer to wind and solar, then subsidise renewables with the money they've taken from fossil, and Chris Huhne lies to millions on TV and says they now cost almost the same. Now if you own Persil and buy Omo and Daz, and then own all three, then any price changes can be evened out and you still get it all, and the same amount. If Omo can wash 10 shirts and Daz can wash 100, if you just buy both companies and prefer to sell Omo as the profits are far higher, you just fix the market and hope people don't notice.
The trouble is people are like alcoholics. They rarely wake up till it's too late and they are in such deep trouble they may die. When the idiots paying the price of a car for a solar panel can't heat their houses a few years down the line they'll wake up one day and realise they've been had. I could see it before they even called the bank to make a loan, and before the salesmen even knocked on their door, but all they could see was the promise of 'free energy'. Now the word 'free' is an absolute term, like 'pregnant'. It is not subject to qualifications, something is free or not. Solar power is a very clear set of figures. You spend a lot up front, and due to government subsidies, if you go away during the spring or summer, they will pay 10 times over the market price for the power you generate and are not there to use.
Otherwise you both have already paid, and are then paying maintenance costs and actually discover that the percentage of your total household energy a panel produces (I must check the new figures now) is under 10%. The only free option is simply because someone else pays for you, if the company use your house as a site and collect all the power profits it generates. So technically it still isn't free as someone else has paid for you hoping they can make a profit.
I use solar power as one of the clearest examples where the knowledge is already out there but cannot explain this to a single person who is blinded by fear of the climate. Unfortunately we don't have the time to wait for these weak minds to climax, as the majority of the civilised world will be broke long before enough of them have their personal epiphanies. If there was such a thing it really would be time for divine intervention. I hadn't even reached world tax and government yet.
I write these as source materials for everyone. I have been slowly putting these together for years and now is the time we all need to be fully informed. Copy, paste and share!

A cautionary tale
Just imagine this scenario. Some nutjob state (eg the UK) under orders from a higher authority (eg the EU) hooks up a small town to 100% renewables. Because of a newly elected Green council (high on rhetoric, but painfully low on facts) they want to prove their commitment to clean energy and zero emissions, so rely entirely on wind and solar, as one of their older members refused to pass the law if nuclear was included (despite being on their approved list).
What their lack of application allowed through was to include the local hospital on to this grid. Soon after the coal fired station was bulldozed and a statue of Stalin erected on its rubble one of the council leader's elderly parents suffered a heart attack and had to go on life support. That night (ie the solar panels, like most of the people, were sleeping) the wind increased (ie not stopped or dropped below the threshhold) so much that it breached the maximum working limit on the windmills (how many people know it has that?) and as built, they cut out to stop the system overloading. As the only two sources of power had run out within minutes the whole town went dark, and as the old hospital backup generator, used during the power cuts of the 70s had been disconnected when the law was passed as it ran on dangerous diesel, every machine in the hospital suddenly ground to a halt, and within a couple of minutes the woman was dead, as were all the other patients on life support.
In an interview the following day the councillor said that 'Although of course I deeply regret the death of my mother, the cost benefit of lives saved now and in the future from climate change mean far fewer people will die overall from this policy than have died last night. As a result we will continue with our policy for the sake of the planet.'
How long will it take before each of these scenarios becomes reality?

Global warmists are bastards
Despite the rain I've been busy today. I discovered climatecamp on twitter just after it had finished but made my mark nonetheless. The global warmists are on the whole the most obnoxious, whinging, self important dickheads I've ever come across. I've never been insulted as much in all my life than the short time I've been confronting them, and haven't seen a decent argument by a single one of them. On the other side the skeptics are the nicest people I've come across and all decent, sensible and polite. That tells me an awful lot. If the good believe in something and the others are all, well, twats, that implies the nature of the belief to me.
Too early to say, but have now volunteered as an official climate media person, and fingers crossed it will work out. I need the support of a proper organisation with scientists now, I'm not qualified to work alone any more. Prince Charles' solar panels are wonderful as now everyone knows the price to equip an average house with them is more than the house, they last maybe 25 years and anyone stupid enough to waste money on them deserves the TV to go off right in the middle of Who wants to be a Millionaire just before the £50,000 question is answered. It would serve the fuckers right.
And just imagine all the old people with solar panels who found just when they actually needed them after three days of snow they ran out. Oops. Too late to turn the gas on now.
I'm still free thank god, I haven't made any phone calls yet as too busy but have to start soon. All a pain in the arse or I would have sooner (besides the ones they weren't in already). I'll think of somewhere to take photos tomorrow if it's dry, I scanned some steam railways on today I'd missed and would like one more old road sign before the collection's more or less over. Meanwhile I hope the Funtrivia bloggers keep going here, I started long ago and is my equivalent to speaking to real people, but like to read as well. And remember guys, you can cuss and cast aspersions here and no one will stop you. So far nothing's really happened but as long as there's a chance and there's nothing to do that's demanding I'll cope. More would be a bonus though.

Snowed in, day 2 (series 2)
Due to being snowed in for the second time in a month I've got a bit more time online than even usually. I managed to walk to the shops at least, the main roads are clear and everything else has 4 inches of snow with a layer of ice underneath. Yesterday wasn't too bad as I needed a rest, but today didn't need nothing happening. I scanned even more old photos online, watched the rest of my videos and washed up at last (6 visitors altogether so plenty to be done). And while we're indoors avoiding the weather the smug twats from the government are all over the TV and radio telling us not to stop believing in global warming. At least preachers are honest and believe what they're telling us.
So I'm running short of things to do, if I can get out tomorrow I will, as will the appointment booked to come to me first. This is when living alone really hits you as being able to go out at least changes the scenery and may ever speak to someone real as opposed to at a distance. Doing this becomes a challenge as well, but if I want to end up as a writer then it's good training. So looking at my plans, not one has yet to materialise. I was 100% right about the timing of the book, no publisher I've ever come across can get anything but the most major issue out on time, the rest just hang about as a final afterthought. Just don't try and pretend there is a planned date and no one will be disappointed. TV programmes are just the same which I am well aware of. Except the twit who said January, and told me a few days after it was on on the 2nd. Either way they usually manage to get it wrong.
I am learning not to look more than a day ahead, but still have hopes without actually trying to set them up. There's the trip to the sign in Surrey if there, otherwise pretty unknown, the Facebook count is now 1/7 from the messages which is just the bare minimum above sod all of course. I really am doing my best, but although it has got me through this far would really like a bit more than just getting through. The online party which is the latest edition of Facebook (it didn't used to look like that) is great as it goes, but as some really are friends wonder how with each living in extending rings from here why I may only have seen about three of them in the last couple of years? Some are back from the past and not quite all have gone to America or Australia (why the fuck would anyone want to live in a warmer but less civilised clone of Britain anyway?) but no sign of actually meeting any again besides one who came back for a quick visit from almost as far away as that.
I also believe it's not unreasonable to get a little more recognition for my efforts. Even though they are all driven by personal interest doesn't mean because I'm not suffering for the results they are worth any less. Looking online I have easily the biggest collection of old direction signs in Britain, despite starting the photos 45 years after they stopped using them. My research into global warming is probably as much as any of the a-holes paid more per year than I've earned my whole lifetime, and all I get for that is insults besides a few allies here. The simple message there is I am trying to help. None of the sods telling you not to drive or fly care one bit about you, they just want to tell people what to do. I have the time and communication skills to discover and share what may actually allow people to escape these chains if enough start to see the light.
And as for the self satisfied bastards I used to go to school with, crowing on their profiles about their jobs, wives and children as they frequently flee the countries of their birth for some flyblown outpost, and can't even be bothered to reply to a message after choosing to go on an old school site then I really don't know how much more I can do.
So I hope for a little more, I believe I deserve it, and expect absolutely none of it.
